good learning tool

I downloaded this program as i wanted to record some vox for a musical track i was recording, to this end i found the program to be very easy to use but i found the choice of voices available quite limited. To be fair though, my purpose is probably outside the scope of the program.
The voices included were reasonably clear and easy to comprehend, as a learning tool I imagine it would be quite efective. The rhythm of the speech could be more natural, the voices have no inflection.
